Royal Flying Doctor Centre

Open daily: Monday - Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday and Public Holidays 1pm - 5pm

The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Visitor Centre, in Alice Springs, commenced operations in the late 1970’s and since its inception it has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Central Australia.

Alice Springs School of the Air Visitor Centre

Open daily: Monday - Saturday 8:30am - 4:30pm, Sunday and Public Holidays 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Alice Springs School of the Air Visitor Centre was set up as an initiative of the School Council to directly support the students of the largest classroom in the world. Discover the unique teaching methods used by the school from its founding through to the present day.

Alice Springs Reptile Centre

Open daily: 9:30am - 5:30pm

Alice Springs Reptile Centre is home to the largest reptile display in Central Australia, displaying an extensive range of reptiles including Terry the Saltwater Crocodile, HUGE Perentie Goannas, Thorny Devils, Frill-neck Lizards and many other fascinating lizards including a varied selection of NT Geckos from the Alice Springsregion, Barkly and the Top End on display in theamazing Gecko Cave.

Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory

Open daily: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Set in a tropical garden on Darwin Harbour at Bullocky Point is the Northern Territory’s premier cultural institution - the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT).

Darwin Military Museum

Open daily: 9:30am - 5pm

The exhibition space includes the Bombing of Darwin Gallery, iconic objects from that time, firsthand accounts and multimedia presentations. The new experience is surrounded by the other buildings and artefacts of the Darwin Military Museum: artillery pieces; vehicles; uniforms; firearms; models and paintings and much more.

Parliament House

Open daily: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm, Saturday - Sunday 9am - 6pm

Parliament House, Darwin’s premier building, is the first permanent residence of the Northern Territory Legislature. It forms part of State Square, which also includes the Supreme Court and Liberty Square, a turfed area that adjoins the Office of the Administrator and Government House.
