For lunch, head to Cervantes, home of the renowned Lobster Shack, where you can choose from a tempting menu of delicious WA seafood. Enjoy your meal alongside a refreshing beverage while taking in the stunning coastal scenery (Lunch is at guest's own expense). Take an after-lunch stroll along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to view some of the world's oldest known living fossils known as Stromatolites. In a region abundant with flora and fauna, wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season. With your lungs full of fresh sea air, journey to Nambung national Park to witness the stunning Pinnacles Desert. These remarkable formations date back millions of years to a time when this land was submerged beneath the sea. Thousands of limestone pillars rise dramatically from the desert landscape. First stop at the Tourist Information Discovery Centre to learn about their fascinating history before walking a few hundred metres to get up close to these incredible structures.
