The operation has an AMSA approved Safety Management System (SMS) in place which addresses all identified safety risks. All Riders and passengers sign a typical ”adventure experience disclaimer“ before participating, and the operation is restricted to the enclosed waters of Darwin harbour which has been deemed as minimal risk by crocodile experts involved in the risk assessment process. Safe operating procedures have been developed based on expert advice across a range of identified risks, and relevant content is covered in customer safety briefings prior to tour departures.
