Make your way through the Adelaide Hills to your first stop at the famous Whispering Wall and listen to its famous acoustic qualities. Your first winery is the beautiful and historic Château Yaldara, home to not only some of the finest Shirazes in the region but to some of the best-preserved period architecture in the state. Continue through the picturesque surroundings of the Barossa Valley, and cross the iconic Jacobs Creek. Enjoy time to explore the shops and attractions of the historic township of Tanunda. From Tanunda it’s onto the very beautiful and iconic Turkey Flat Vineyards. Once again, a passionate family-owned winery with a proud history dating back to 1847. Here we enjoy a wonderful, structured tasting before settling down to an incredible regional platter lunch of the highest quality. Made up of local meats, fresh breads, cheeses, pate and an assortment of other local delights, this is the perfect lunch during a day of wine tasting. There are also vegetarian, vegan and gluten free platters if you need. Next stop is a real hidden gem of the Barossa and exclusive to Taste the Barossa guests - Rosenvale Wines. This small but top quality cellar door welcomes our guests to try their high quality selection of wines, as they guide you through a passionate and personal tasting experience, you will marvel at the quality of their produce. It's then time to depart back towards the city stopping at the palm studded roads of Seppeltsfield. Enjoy a quick 40-minute cruise into Adelaide's CBD for a 05:30pm arrival.~~~~ |
