A stunning way to check out all major iconic sights of Melbourne from a unique water-level perspective. After a quick briefing and paddling lesson, participants will get kitted up and head downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne. The tour will continue along the Yarra River past Flinders Station and up to the iconic Polly Woodside Tallship at South Wharf before entering the Docklands precinct and the beautiful Yarra’s Edge Marina.
After a short break the paddlers then head back upstream past Crown Casino and the lively South Bank district before finishing back at Boathouse Drive. This tour is an appropriate length for younger paddlers who can team up with Mum or Dad or one of our guides. With a fleet of extremely stable Sea Bear sea kayaks, the experience will be even easier for first-time paddlers. Our tour ends at the boat landing area at the Rowing Sheds, right in the heart of Melbourne, and directly across the river from Federation Square.
