Sunlover Cruises will whisk you away to beautiful Fitzroy Island for a day of fun on this idyllic tropical Island. Situated just 45 minutes from Cairns by fast catamaran, Fitzroy is the perfect place to spend the day and soak up some tropical warmth. Check-in is open from 08:45am - 09:45am with the Sunlover vessel departing Cairn's marina every day at 10:15am. Snorkeling equipment to be collected onboard the vessel prior arrival at Fitzroy Island. 12:15pm - Arrive Fitzroy Island 3 Hours of Island time. Once on the island you are free to walk around to beautiful untouched sandy beaches and snorkel or swim right off the beach. Glass Bottom Boat tour included at pre-arranged time. There are numerous rainforests walks to be done. Sunlover Sundancer boarding from 3:30-3:45pm for your return trip to Cairns arriving at approximately 5:00pm snorkel safari Fitzroy Island Experience the reefs around beautiful Fitzroy Island where turtles, clown fish, corals, and other exciting marine life call home. You will learn how to best use the equipment in the water, useful hand signals and how to travel together as a group in the water. Starting from the beach you will enter the water, adjust your gear, and spend up to 60 minutes exploring the unique reefs and learning about the marine life that inhabit these waters.
