Self drive your car to the base of Uluru and meet at this iconic monolith. Once the group is assembled and checked in, it is time to learn how to Segway. Your friendly guide will give the group a Segway riding lesson and demonstration. Once everyone is comfortable aboard their Segway, you'll glide around the full base of Uluru, getting up close and personal with this amazing natural phenomenon. Your guide will stop often for photos and to explain about the ancient culture and unique flora and fauna of the region.

This tour is recommended for those aged 12-55 years (visitors above 55 years should consider their individual suitability). This activity is not suitable for thos above the age of 65 years due to increased risk in the event of a fall.
In order to engage in any Uluru Segway Tours activities participants need to:
- be a minimum of 12 years of age, and if under 18 years of age be accompanied by an adult;
- weight between 45-117kg a set out by Segway PT manufacturer;
- correctly wear the provided helmet at all times;
- be able to stand un-aided for the entire length of the tour;
- be able to walk unassisted;
- be able to step on-to and off-of the Segway, approximately 20cm (8inches);
- be free of drugs or alcohol;
- have vision that is of a standard that will allow safe operation of a Segway PT;
- inform Uluru Segway Tours of any health or vision conditions that may impact their participation in the activity
People with serious health problems/back injuries or who are pregnant should not participate in any Segway activities.
It is the riders responsibility to ensure that they have read and understand all of the above rider requirements.
