I was lucky enough to stay at Mount Bundy just to Christmas 2008 and I cannot promote this property enough for self drivers and in particular for families from capital cities looking for a unique Top End experience.

This is my insight:

Mount Bundy Station is the premier Top End outback adventure for travellers wanting to experience a unique destination and accommodation.

As a live working cattle and water buffalo station, Mt Bundy Station not only provides down to earth comfortable accommodation and home-style cooked meals at request, but is a destination on a journey exploring a land that holds mystical spring fed water holes, majestic water falls, ancient rock art, billabongs, water lilies and locals as unique as Crocodile Dundee.

Horse riding, bird watching, river cruises, bush golf, barramundi fishing, and prepared BBQs, in the last of the Frontiers.

For those who would like to experience a working buffalo station in style, with a silver service afternoon tea, in an exquisite bed and breakfast over looking untouched land as far as the eye can see with champagne at sunset, then Mount Bundy is the place to be.
