Top End Memories How can I choose a favourite Top End memory? I can’t make my mind up, I loved it all! by Emily

My favourite experience of the Top End has to be when I took my first step into Florence Falls at Litchfield National Park, seeing the amazing force of the water coming down amongst the rocks and not knowing what was beneath my feet…

Or was it when I was being massaged by a mini waterfall at Bluey Rockpools, the power of the water pushing me further down stream. Until sitting quietly amongst the trees and rocks, I glanced upon a lone water monitor, just hoping out of the water after his swim.

Or was my favourite experience the cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong, with the hauntingly, still and tranquil paperbark forest staring intently in the water for the ever elusive salty. Or was it the Katherine Gorge cruise with the huge gorge walls, making you feel miniature floating along inside the massive gorge.

Then again my favourite experience could have been watching the sun set across Darwin Harbour aboard the Tumlaren with my glass of the champagne. And then to see a storm dancing across the horizon hours away, yet so clear we could see the lightening touching the water.

How can I choose a favourite memory? I can’t make my mind up, I loved it all.
