Bird Watching Adventures in the Northern Territory


With a diverse array of species and ecosystems, the Northern Territory is the perfect place for a bird watching adventure.

There are four bird species that soar only these skies and cannot be seen anywhere else in the world - the white-throated grasswren, white-lined honeyeater, hooded parrot and chestnut-quilled rock pigeon. A further 14 rare species, including abundant Gouldian finch, rainbow pitta and chestnut rail can also be spotted in the Northern Territory.
